The Nun's Litany

Una de mis canciones favoritas, del último álbum de los Magnetic Fields. ¿Cuál es tu parrafo favorito? Acompañado de su ukelele podemos escuchar a Stephin Merrit interpretar esta fabulosa canción... Aunque la versión del álbum me agarada más.
Por otro lado, en un examen de la Universidad de Cambridge (para la sorpresa de los estudiantes) se incluyó una pregunta en la que se tenía que hacer una comparación crítica entre las composiciones poéticas y líricas de Shakespeare, John Milton, Walter Raleigh y... Amy Winehouse. Sin duda alguna las composiciones de Merrit hubieran sido más adecuadas para tales comparaciones. De todos modos los estudiantes habrían mostrado una sorpresa, me imagino sus caras: ¿quién diablos es Stephin Merrit?...
